If you’re looking for the best superhero/comic book-based flick ever, this is not it. If you’re looking for a pretty decent movie starring Hugh Jackman, you’re going to have fun.
I wasn’t expecting a lot from this movie. The entire X-Men franchise was pretty much hit-or-miss in my opinion. There were a couple of good ones and a few bad ones. That’s why I wasn’t really that excited to see this movie.
I was on my own when I watched the movie. I was just looking for a quick escape from the real world and with that as the standard, I enjoyed the movie.
